School-Based Postvention: After a Suicide

This training provides an overview of the rationale and recommendations for conducting postvention in schools after a tragic loss. Specifically, the efforts to reduce the risk of contagion following a death by suicide will be emphasized. Attendees will learn the essential components of a postvention response and the various responsibilities of postvention team members. Considerations for an adapted postvention response during a larger-scale crisis will also be highlighted. In addition, relevant resources to best support students, staff, families, and the community will be reviewed.

**Please note that we are unable to provide CEs at this time, however you will receive a certificate upon completion of this training**
